96 Hours in ATL:

January โ€˜24

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿค if you are reading this, I am hoping you are doing well and that you are taking care of yourself in all ways especially mentally + sticking to your goals/New Yearโ€™s resolutions still almost 30 days into the New Year. I canโ€™t believe Janaury is basically over, it felt like it came and flew past our eyes. So, with all that being said if you are reading this, I hope you are taking time for you and creating that balance in your life.

Speaking of balance, one of my goals this year is to have more balance in my life and just live life more & enjoy the great moment it brings me โ€” so whatโ€™s a better way to kick off this year than to go to ATL and spend time with the fam. The four days I was able to spend in ATL this time around was so much fun and well needed from beginning to end just because I was able to unplug from reality and just work. For those who donโ€™t know, I take trips to ATL about 3-4 times each year and go out there to turn up with my cousins and just to get away to do fun things with my family. From the endless good food, good drinks, good memories, great art, and great vibes the whole trip my favorite part was the Trap Muzik Museum and also being able to see some nice graffiti art downtown. Everyone knows how much I enjoy listening to music and how much of a true music/Hip-Hop head I am so the Trap Muzik Musuem was literally everything to me. I loved seeing the different sections that was contributed to the different elements of Trap Music and just southern Hip Hop. From seeing T.I.โ€™s closet with all his awards, jewerly, clothing, etc. to the section of all the mixtapes that came out during the mixtape era, the Nicki Minaj booth, and so much more. This musuem is probably in my top 5 musuems I have been to so far in my life.

Outside of the musuem, I was able to kick it with my family and turn up with my cousins like always and even hang out with one of my close college friends which is always a good time. I must say I had the best salmon philly sandwhich on this trip and when I go back out there I got to run that back lol + endless margaritas I had as well the entire trip. All in all, I learned from this trip that it is okay to unplug from reality every once in while and just have fun. Life is too short to just work ourselves to death and never have fun or even that balance in our life. So, I hope this post encourages you do something to unplug from your reality and have fun because if nobody has told you, just know you deserve it.

Keep on doing what makes you happy and creating that balance in your world โ€” always remember you come first and just take care of YOU!
